Listeners to ‘Wake up to Wogan’ on BBC Radio 2 will already know the popularity of Alan’s quizzes which attract a wide following and Sunshine Radio is pleased to be organising the first one to be held in the Weston area.
Sunshine Radio Vice Chair Sue Walker said “Sunshine Radio has a long tradition of working in the community and raising money for BBC Children in Need. We are very pleased that Alan Dedicoat, who has a long history of supporting the station, has agreed to host this high profile event.”
Alan Dedicoat said ‘I’m looking forward to returning to the West Country – my favourite part of the country. And it’s for the very best of reasons: raising money for Britain’s deprived and needy children. I’m sure Weston will do us proud.”
